PROSTATE CANCER RESEARCH GETS SOME HELP FROM A “GOOD MAN.”
FRANK D’ANGELO TURNS HIS PHILANTHROPIC EYE TOWARDS A NEW CAUSE.

TORONTO, October 9, 2008 –

Frank D'Angelo, Can't keep a good man down Music AlbumLong known for his crooning in support of breast cancer research, media maven and entrepreneur in the truest sense of the word, Frank D’Angelo is now singing a different tune. This time it’s an original composition to benefit the Prostate Cancer Research Foundation of Canada.
“My new song ‘You Can’t Keep a Good Man Down’ is for all those men who have endured struggles in their life. For all those that have been knocked down but never stayed down,” Said D’Angelo who’s no stranger to doing his part for others. D’Angelo added that “the song was inspired by a very dear friend” of his who had a recent bout with the dreaded disease. Prostate cancer will afflict 1 in 7 men in his lifetime - approximately 24,700 men this year alone.

“Men don’t like to think about ‘below the belt’ health issues, and it’s a constant challenge to get men over the age of 40 to take their prostate health seriously,” said Greg Sarney, Vice President of the Foundation. “We applaud Frank for addressing the issue of prostate cancer in a creative way, and we thank him for his generous support through this initiative.”

Frank is no stranger to the spotlight. At the helm belting out vocals, his band is a musical montage that covers a broad range of musical styles, eras, and sensibilities—whether it’s entertaining Canadian Troops or opening for the likes of Tom Cochrane, Peter Frampton, Burton Cummings, LoverBoy, Gino Vanelli, The Temptations, Cowboy Junkies, Alannah Myles and George Canyon. When Frank D’Angelo and his band grab the stage it’s an unexpected blast of energy. Singing all time favorite tunes in his distinctive high energy R&B style, Frank woos his audience like no other entertainer can.

“The most important thing to me is to entertain a few people while trying to make a difference,” says Frank. I guess it’s true what they say – you can’t keep a good man down. The song and CD, with all net proceeds to support prostate cancer research, can be heard and purchased at www.dangelobrands.ca for $4.99.
